 A Message from Kate

Our 15th birthday party was another successful social evening with a disco and quiz and lots of laughter. Another triumph for our programme team, so thank you again.

The entries for the Cheshire show were collected at the meeting and I would like to say a big thank you to Sally for organising this. Our members did very well with lots of certificates presented. We hope that the entries will be displayed at the next meeting so you can see the amazing talent of our members.

Thank you too to Linda, Sally and Ann for co-ordinating the knitting in the park on what was a challenging day weather wise.

Those of you at the meeting will have heard the good news that Karen has volunteered to take over the role of secretary after the annual meeting. She is carrying on as our NECG representative, but not as social secretary. We discussed this at committee and would like to suggest that we have a social events team who could take it in turns to organise various events. So if you would like to be involved with that team please let either me or one of the other committee members know. If you would like more details then Karen can provide these.

Looking forward to seeing you at our July meeting

Kate
