A Note from Sue

At this month's meeting, we will be celebrating our 14th Birthday. Our Founders, Suze ably assisted by Sheila, promoted the idea of starting a WI in The Heatons, and as they say, the rest is history!! So do please come along and join in the fun. Dress up in Vintage style, or in red, white and blue or whatever takes your fancy, it really doesn't matter, what matters, is an opportunity to have a good time. There will be a quiz and a team competition to decorate a hat. Tea/coffee/scones and jam will be free and for those wishing to have a glass of Fizz, the bar in the public area will be open. Finally, for those wishing to dance around their handbags, we will make sure the floor is free for dancing!

Now to a little bit of WI business. The Committee would like to welcome members to join us ; if you would like to come along to a meeting to find out more, please have a chat with anyone on the current Committee. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm, with the next meeting taking place on Thursday 7th July.

Take good care.

With very best wishes,

Sue x
