A Message from Kate
July’s meeting was interesting as we learnt about life on a superyacht-sadly something I am unlikely to ever experience! We also voted to change our charity for this year and will now be supporting the Oliver King Foundation.
Last month I asked you to think about joining the committee; we are definitely going to need new members as we have 3 current committee members stepping down. So please seriously consider joining us. You are
welcome to attend a meeting as an observer to see what they are like or talk to any current committee members. We are a friendly bunch whose main aim is to make sure that our meetings and subgroups all run smoothly and are enjoyable.
Your committee needs you.
The meeting this month is a social event which will be varied and fun-more details are elsewhere in this newsletter. I look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kate

IMPORTANT NOTICE-Register and Evacuation Procedure-It is important that you sign in BEFORE finding a seat at the beginning of the meeting. This is for your safety as, if we have missed adding you to the register and we have to evacuate the building, we will not have an accurate record of who is in attendance. This also applies if you arrive late or leave the meeting early. Please let Linda McD. know or Sally in Linda’s absence. Our evacuation meeting point is on the field opposite the car park entrance.
