A Message from Kate
We had a very successful Annual Meeting-thank you to everyone involved and thank you for re-electing me as President, it is a privilege and I will again work hard on your behalf. We said farewell to three committee members Ann, Deborah and Karen who have all made invaluable contributions over the years, I wish them all the best for the future, and Ann and Karen in particular as they move away. We have two new committee members Kate and Emma and I am really pleased that they have joined our hard working team. You will see the new committee roles later on in the newsletter.
After the Annual Meeting the demonstration of CPR was very interesting and relevant.
I hope you have or will visit St Paul’s church to see the Christmas Tree festival-our trees are stunning, as are all the others. I would like to pay tribute to the hard work of Sally who along with Ann, Linda and Kate W. have organised the event for the church. It has definitely been a success.
Our December meeting will be a social with lots of different activities which you should enjoy. I look forward to seeing you there.
I would also like to wish you and yours all the best for a happy and peaceful festive season and a prosperous New Year.
Best wishes
Kate
