A Message from Kate
May’s meeting went really well-it was great to hear about Fiona’s valuable work at the local food bank and how grateful they are for all our contributions.
It was also good to see the way the resolutions debate resulted in such enthusiasm and brilliant ideas, so it was fantastic to see it adopted at the Annual Meeting.
We also chose our bursary winners and they are Pat McGurk, Carolyn Rowe, Angela Slattery and Perveen Tariq. Congratulations to them all and I look forward to hearing about what they choose to do.
It is our 17th birthday meeting this month and we have a performance poet to entertain us, I look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kate
