A Message from Kate
It was good to see the wide ranging discussions at the May meeting about the resolutions. Thank you also for the suggestions for speakers and fund raising ideas-these will be looked at and included where possible.
It is the time of year where we start to think about our Annual Meeting in November. If anybody would like to join the committee and contribute to the running of our WI please contact one of the current committee to find out more about what it entails. We always need fresh ideas which are what new members bring.
It is our 18th birthday this month so keep a look out for the post box toppers that have been created to celebrate our coming of age. They are about our WI, the sub groups and some of the many resolutions. A big thank you to all the craft group and other members who have contributed, I think you will agree they are amazing. At the June meeting we will be having a social with fun and games and special cakes courtesy of Kate Wragg. This should be a great evening and I look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kate

IMPORTANT NOTICE-Register and Evacuation Procedure-It is important that you sign in BEFORE finding a seat at the beginning of the meeting. This is for your safety as, if we have missed adding you to the register and we have to evacuate the building, we will not have an accurate record of who is in attendance. This also applies if you arrive late or leave the meeting early. Please let Linda McD. know (or Sally in Linda’s absence). Our evacuation meeting point is on the field opposite the car park entrance.
