A Message from Kate
I would like to start by thanking again Perveen and Jane for their excellent and informative talks. They both gave a fascinating insight into how their religion impacts their everyday life. We all learnt a lot that night.
As the Annual meeting comes closer I would like you to consider volunteering to join the committee-we always need new members with new ideas.
You will see shortly the new postcards and posters that Kate has created advertising our WI-they are colourful and will hopefully result in new members joining us. Thank you to Kate for their excellent hard work involved in designing these.
This month’s meeting is the Gay Gordons so please bring your dancing shoes with you, though of course it is not compulsory and I am sure it will be very entertaining to watch those who are dancing! I look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kate
Birthday Greetings
Many happy returns to members celebrating their birthdays in August

IMPORTANT NOTICE-Register and Evacuation Procedure-It is important that you sign in BEFORE finding a seat at the beginning of the meeting. This is for your safety as, if we have missed adding you to the register and we have to evacuate the building, we will not have an accurate record of who is in attendance. This also applies if you arrive late or leave the meeting early. Please let Linda McD. know (or Sally in Linda’s absence). Our evacuation meeting point is on the field opposite the car park entrance.
