A Message from Kate
I hope you all enjoyed our 18th birthday meeting as much as I did. A big thank you goes to Chris Boal for organising the activities, which were great fun and involved a lot of laughter, and also to Kate for the delicious cakes enjoyed by all.
We gave out pens to our members as it was a special birthday. Those members who weren’t at the meeting will be getting their pens at the July meeting or as soon as possible after.
The outing to Harrogate was a great success, there is so much to do there and the weather was perfect. Betty’s was especially popular that day. Special thanks to Perveen who organised the trip and made sure that the day went smoothly, and to all our members who supported it. A great time was had by all.
We have a wide variety of sub groups covering lots of different types of activities, the full details are in the handbook which has been emailed to you. If you want to join any of them (or start a new one), please speak to a committee member who will show you what you need to do.
The July meeting will be an extremely interesting one as two of our members Perveen Tariq and Jane Hoare will be talking about what their faith means to them. It is also the month where we sell the National Raffle tickets rather than our own. I look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Kate

This also applies if you arrive late or leave the meeting early. Please let Linda McD. know (or Sally in Linda’s absence). Our evacuation meeting point is on the field opposite the car park entrance.
